ACCESS TO PUBLIC TRANSPORT IN WROCLAW

Today's investigation brought the information that already 28% of Wroclaw's built areas (no specific data about the type and inhabitants) is well connected to public transport system. In 3 minutes of walk one can access at least one tram and one bus stop.

Attached map shows, that apart from the center, good and average access spreads out to the southern districts. It could explain, why in recent years these parts concentrated almost 50% of residential investments in the city. Appartment costs are of the highest in Wrocław, and they were the most desired localisation for living.

Other explanations would say something about parks, social/cultural infrastucture, but I these informations exceed the scope of this work.

Funnily, part of the town hall in the middle of Old Market Square is in "very bad" connection to public transport is .

It is also interesting ,that south-west and west part of the city, is omitted by public transport. Even though it is inhabited by 30% of Wroclaw's citizens. As legend says, these areas have been for last 150 years covered with industry and inhabited by its employees, so the municipality doesn't care.
